It has been a crazy week here in Hartford, and the world, as the COVID-19 is becoming a growing concern. But business must go on, and hopefully, this time can become an opportunity for Insurtechs to implement solutions that help solve the global pandemic. Amidst all this craziness we had a productive and eventful week!
Capgemini joined us on Wednesday and Friday this week to host partner days. Both days were as educational for our startups as it was for the Capgemini team members. Our startups got to learn more about Capgemini, and Capgemini got to learn more about the startups. By gaining a deeper understanding of each other they are able to better understand how they can work together to achieve aligning goals.
“It’s amazing to see Capgemini bring out their executives and global team to meet with our startups. It really shows the dedication and drive of their company to focus on innovation and help drive change from their organization and those they work with” – Rob, Startupbootcamp
“Meeting Capgemini gave us a clear understanding that Capgemini is truly invested in building symbiotic relationships with insurtech companies. Excited to continue the discussion, be part of their vision and leverage their experience.” – Paul, Mitigateway
“I really liked how much thought has gone into how they engage with Insurtech: pragmatic expectations, focus on quick wins in carefully selected areas, and enabling small startups to engage efficiently with large account teams across geographies. I was especially struck by how they realize that founders can’t hop across the globe to attend client meetings at short notice. How we as partners can create visibility and train Capgemini teams to evangelize internally on our behalf will be key for a successful partnership.” – Ramakant, Wysa
Hartford InsurTech Hub’s and Capgemini’s partnership provides unparalleled support to startups by providing resources to scale and integrate with corporates who need their innovative solutions. Our partnership with Capgemini is driving insurtech ecosystem growth!
Hartford Wolf Pack: Wednesday evening we attended the Hartford Wolf Pack hockey game at the XL center, for many this was their first hockey game ever! It was an enjoyable evening to relax and watch some hockey. Too bad the Wolf Pack team lost 1:3.
Tokio Marine: This past Thursday we connected with our partner Tokio Marine via video chat. While they were in San Francisco our startups pitched to them from here in Hartford. We are excited to see the relationships between Tokio Marine and our startups grow!
We are thankful for another great week and hope everyone stays healthy as we head into next week!
